We are a local group who campaign to prevent animal suffering in all forms and to provide information to the public on animal rights issues.

We also do a lot of animal rescue. If you're looking for an animal (any animal!) please get in touch.

WARNING: This site does contain some images which animal lovers may find upsetting. I have left out the worst of them, including cartoons where possible. I would ask that if you are upset by any of these images (as I am), please do not switch off from the issue - we need to work together to put an end to this cruelty.

At present, we do not hold formal meetings but in time, as numbers grow, we hope to meet monthly to discuss aims, events and new campaigns. We also hope to hold stalls to provide information to the public at weekends.

Please- help us to give a voice for those who are unable to do so for themselves. Animals feel pain, suffer and become distressed as humans do- anyone who has known animals will understand this. We do not believe that it is our right as humans to cause pain and suffering to animals- it is out duty to protect them from those who hurt them, exploit them or those who are prepared to do so for profit.
